The GT-7054-A1 is specifically designed to assess the torsional strength of various metallic wires and twist resistance of enameled wire coating. One end of the specimen is fixed, while the other end is rotated continuously 360° or reciprocally 180° until the specimen fails or the enamel coating peels off. The number of twists is recorded.
