Cord Torsion Tester

The GT-7054-A is specifically designed to assess the torsional strength of various metallic wires and twist resistance of enameled wire coating.
One end of the specimen is fixed, while the other end is rotated continuously 360° or reciprocally 180° until the specimen fails or the enamel coating peels off. The number of twists is recorded.
The cord torsion tester is used to assess material performance under torsional stress. It is applicable to determine the torsion strength of metallic wires and twist resistance of enameled wire coating.
