The GT-7041-B fixture is utilized to assess the bending fracture behavior of specimens in low-temperature environments. The specimens are secured in the U-shaped groove between the upper and lower compression platens and fastened with screws. After freezing in a low-temperature chamber, the specimens are manually pressed to observe their bending behavior.
